At 3D Nail Academy, you receive a fully equipped rolling kit with the top products, books, and a custom uniform. Enjoy our newly built facility, located next to our partner nail salon, where you can find job placement and on the job training to grow your skills in a salon atmosphere.
DeQuena Niles
Founder & CEO - Instructor
DeQuena Niles is a mother of three. Her handsome son, DeQuan, Denim and Dacen. This is the heart of 3D nail academy and where the name of the academy was derived.
Owning a Nail school was always her dream and goal once she set foot in the Nail Industry. “BIGGER GOD” was always her prayer! She graduated from Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology in 2009 and instantly began building her business and brand, NAILZ BY QUEEN. She started from the bottom, and consistently worked on developing her craft. Slow, steady, and personal was always her RACE. She is the true definition of putting in the work. Any entrepreneur who has had to build from the ground up can relate to the blood, sweat, and tears involved in the journey of BUILDING A BRAND and SETTING YOUR FOUNDATION. ~Philippians 4:13
Nails was only meant to be a HOBBY for her, so for many years during her journey, she ran from her gift. She went to nail school, only to have a means to take care of her son, make her own hours, and make money while in college! Finally she graduated college and obtained her Bachelors in Business Administration. She immediately went back to working 9-5 jobs and practiced nails on the side. Something about leaving that 9-5 secure job to follow your God giving gift that we struggle with! ~PROVERBS 3:5
As the years went by of working and quitting different jobs, she finally decided in 2012 to be obedient to GOD'S PLAN, and go full time in the nail industry, giving it her all. In 2016 she opened her own Full service SALON AND SPA; NBQ, which she still owns and operates. She will be expanding it to NBQ SALON & SUITES. ~2 Corinthian 5:7
Through her journey of building her brand, she continued to educate herself. She has since obtained her Masters in Business Administration and her Nail instructors license. Opening her NEWEST facility is her biggest accomplishment to date, 3D NAIL Academy. Here is where her DREAM becomes REALITY! Where PASSION meets PURPOSE! A place where she can share her gift, educate upcoming nail technicians, and prepare her students to WIN, not only as a nail technician but as a Business owner. She has experienced the ups and the downs of the industry and from that, has created the BLUEPRINT to SUCCESS!
